The 3 way L PVC pipe fitting also known as a 90 degree side outlet ell or corner fitting is commonly used to build a box or cube out of PVC pipe. It is also useful to make the ridge ends on PVC greenhouses or small PVC buildings. All three outlets are non-threaded sockets and are compatible with furniture grade PVC pipe or standard PVC pipe from a hardware store. This fitting is plumbing grade, meaning it has the schedule 40 rating stamped on the part for NSF rated fittings for use with potable water and other plumbing applications.
