Get ready for Halloween with a chilling DIY PVC Haunted Halloween Tunnel that transforms your yard into a spooky spectacle! This easy-to-build project uses PVC pipes and connectors to create a tunnel perfect for trick-or-treaters, Halloween parties, or haunted house setups. Decorated with spider webs, black gauze, and eerie orange and purple lights, it’s a budget-friendly way to thrill your neighborhood. (If you follow us, this style of hoop house looks familiar, RIGHT!?)
Build the tunnel with just a few 10-foot PVC pipes, Tee and Cross connectors, and rebar stakes for stability. Hammer rebar into the ground, connect pipes into arches, and link them with shorter pipes for a sturdy three-arch frame. Add a projector screen with zip ties for spooky video projections from sources like AtmosFX or YouTube, making it a hit with kids and adults alike. Customize with extra decorations to match themes like “Pirate’s Cove” or “Sleepy Hollow.”

This project is quick to assemble, reusable, and expandable—"ours grew from three to six arches with neighbors joining the fun!" Whether you keep it simple or go all-out with a solid cover for a true tunnel effect, this PVC haunt is sure to become an annual tradition.
Here's a parts list, you'll definitely want to make sure and use SLIP TEE's and SLIP CROSSES on this project so you don't have to cut as much pipe.

Halloween Decor

This smart idea comes from craftymorning.com and it's one that just makes sense. An easy way to create fun looking candy
stands for your front porch. Simply use PVC pipe and Screw Tab Caps to create your pumpkin candy bucket stands. Don't forget, to make sure they don't get knocked over easily you'll want solid bases or feet for these little guys. The best method to create your feet for your pumpkin is to use a 2x4 piece of wood and drill a hole in it to form some boots for the pumpkin feet. You'll need a couple of other items to make this idea come to life. First pick a Halloween themed bucket or pumpkin bucket to make the head and then you'll need to attach your PVC pipes to the bottom of that using screws and Screw Tab caps. For this idea you should use 1 inch PVC pipe and fittings. This will make sure you have sturdy legs to hold a heavy bucket of candy. As for the boots/feet you will need a 2x4 cut down to about 6 inches long and then you will want to drill into the side with a spade style drill bit large enough to fit your 1 inch PVC pipe. The outside diameter of 1 inch PVC is 1.315" so you will want a bit like this one which is a 1-3/8" to fit your pipe: https://a.co/d/e8eX7LJ (pro tip: you can also use the same screw tab caps on the bottom of the pipe, instead of a wooden block, and screw that into a wooden platform and cover the bottom with some old shoes or boots by cutting a hole in bottom of the shoe. This would be the most sturdy option)
Once you have all your parts together you can add tape to the legs or paint the character. This will be a fun way to make your porch stand out this fall! We love these ideas and there are so many more out there! Which one's will you decorate with this year? Let us know in the comments and feel free to share your next great PVC ideas!
